Using Maple Lattes

These terms cover maplelattes.com, Maple Lattes apps and Maple Lattes Messages features, together called the “service.” They apply whether you use the service as a guest or with an account.

Maple Lattes is operated by Boxcue Technologies LLC (“we,” “us” and “our”). By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to accept these terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must review and agree to them where required by law.

The iPhone and iPad app asks you to agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy before you begin using the app. If you choose Not now, you remain on the agreement screen and cannot access the app’s features until you agree. The Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used and handled.

Maple Lattes is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Taylor Swift, her representatives, Apple, Google, YouTube, Spotify or TikTok.

Accounts and saved work

An account is optional. If you create one, provide accurate sign-in details, protect your account and let support know about suspected unauthorized use.

You keep the rights in your original contributions. You give Maple Lattes a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process and display those contributions only as needed to provide the features you choose, including sharing with their intended recipients. This does not transfer ownership of your contributions or any third-party music, artwork or other material.

This license lasts only as necessary to provide those features and retain information as described in our Privacy Policy or required by law.

You can clear saved progress or delete your account as explained in the Privacy Policy. Local storage or synchronization can fail, so use available export or backup features for work you want to keep. Deleting information from Maple Lattes does not remove copies already shared with others or playlists exported to another service.

Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and respect other people’s rights. Do not:

• Access another person’s account without permission.
• Impersonate, harass or threaten others.
• Submit malware, spam or material you are not entitled to share.
• Disrupt the service, bypass access controls or rate limits, or make abusive automated requests.
• Use the service to infringe copyright, privacy or other rights.

These terms do not restrict lawful rights, good-faith reporting or honest reviews.

Music, videos and recordings

Songs, recordings, artwork and trademarks belong to their respective owners. A listing, link, thumbnail or embedded player does not give you permission to download, extract or redistribute the underlying content. Use provider controls and comply with the applicable provider’s terms.

Archive dates, setlists, release information and recording matches can contain errors. Availability can change by region or over time. Rankings, preferences and other fan contributions are not official ratings or statements from the artist.

Video sources

Maple Lattes helps you find performances, music videos, interviews and other recordings on YouTube, TikTok and other source services. Listings may include provider-supplied titles, creator names, durations and thumbnails, together with a link to the source video, alongside editorial information about a performance.

The iPhone and iPad app does not itself play, host, download or store the linked video files. Video links open the source service in its app or your browser. Features may differ on other platforms. The website may display provider-controlled embedded players.

Providers control access to their videos, playback, advertising and regional availability. A video may become unavailable, change or be removed. Maple Lattes may remove or replace a listing, including when its details can no longer be confirmed.

Maple Lattes uses YouTube API Services to obtain and refresh YouTube video information. By using Maple Lattes, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Our use of YouTube API Services is governed by the YouTube API Services Terms of Service. The Google Privacy Policy explains how Google handles personal information.

When you access TikTok content, TikTok’s applicable terms and privacy policy govern your use of its service. See the TikTok Terms of Service and TikTok Privacy Policy. Other publishers’ terms apply when you use their services.

Our Privacy Policy explains how loading provider information, thumbnails and embedded players can involve those providers.

Apple Music and song previews

Maple Lattes uses Apple Music and the iTunes Search API for supported song and album information and previews. Supported full-song playback and playlist saving use Apple Music. These features operate under Apple’s applicable terms and authorization, subscription and regional requirements.

Song previews are streamed from Apple to help you identify and compare recordings available through Apple. Maple Lattes provides links to the corresponding recordings and applicable attribution. Preview audio is not offered for download or offline listening through Maple Lattes. Preview availability depends on Apple’s catalog and the applicable storefront.

Connecting Apple Music is optional and separate from signing in to Maple Lattes.

Your collection

The collection section helps you track physical releases and editions you own or want, including vinyl, CDs, cassettes, video releases and box sets. In the iPhone and iPad app, collection entries use release details and original format illustrations rather than product photographs or cover art.

Release details can contain errors. Check the edition, format, condition and other purchase details with the retailer or label before buying. Marking an edition as owned or wanted does not reserve or purchase it.

Rights concerns

To report a rights concern, email info@maplelattes.com with:

• The exact Maple Lattes page and, where applicable, the source URL.
• A description of the material and the rights involved.
• The claimant’s identity, or the identity of their authorized representative, and contact details.

Maple Lattes may review reports and remove or disable disputed links or listings. Removal from Maple Lattes does not remove material hosted by another service.

Playlists, sharing and Messages

Saving a playlist to Apple Music requires the necessary authorization and supported account capabilities. Saving and playback can depend on your subscription, region, catalog availability and provider settings. Playlists already saved to another service are managed through that service.

You may download and share result cards that Maple Lattes creates for you. Review names and other personal details before sharing. Submit only content you are allowed to use, and do not include another person’s private information without permission.

Invitations can allow a recipient to join a shared activity. Send them only to intended recipients. Other people may retain shared images, messages or copies of a playlist after you delete your information.

Maple Lattes Messages features let you rank, vote, play guessing games and build shared playlists. Completed playlists can be opened in the Maple Lattes app for saving to Apple Music. Messages features do not provide music previews or video playback.

App-store software licenses apply separately to downloaded apps. These service terms do not replace a license supplied by the applicable store.

Merchandise and notifications

Merchandise links are informational. Prices and stock can change, so verify details with the retailer.

The retailer governs purchases, payments, delivery and refunds. Maple Lattes is not the seller of products linked to external stores.

Notifications are optional and can be delayed or missed. They do not guarantee a price or stock availability.

Availability and suspension

Features can vary by platform and may change or end. Maple Lattes does not guarantee a complete archive, uninterrupted availability or permanent access to linked recordings.

Information from other services may be removed, replaced with a placeholder or shown as unavailable when its source changes or can no longer be confirmed.

We may reasonably restrict or suspend access when needed to address a breach of these terms, security concerns or legal obligations. Contact support to request a review.

You may stop using the service at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains how to clear saved information and delete your account.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or noninfringement. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or secure operation, or that all information is accurate.

To the extent permitted by law, Boxcue Technologies LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, arising from use or unavailability of the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing limits consumer protections or other statutory rights that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

Updates will be dated on this page. For material changes, Maple Lattes will give reasonable advance notice through the service or another appropriate channel and seek consent where required.

Urgent security or legal changes may take effect sooner where allowed. Changes apply going forward and do not retroactively change a dispute. If you disagree with updated terms, stop using the service.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
